The Prober® is a purpose built tool for termite inspectors, home inspectors, painters, general contractors, and anyone wanting to find dry rot damage and termite damage in wood.
How The Prober® Came To Be
The Prober® like many tools was born out of necessity. Creator Brian Wickstrom of Woodland-Davis Termite & Pest Control, Inc.
made crude versions of The Prober® by hand for years from traditional paint roller cages. Others in the home inspection and termite inspection industry use ski poles and broomsticks with a screwdriver duct taped to the end. None of these were very good and certainly were not professional looking.
The Prober™ solved these problems. It was specifically designed to locate termite and dry rot damaged wood. With its blunt tip, it won’t cause cosmetic damage to sound wood. And when you attach it to an extension pole you can inspect second story trim and roof eaves without a ladder. Make your job faster and safer while looking like the professional that you are by using The Prober®.
